You can request to be reinstated to the Register. For example, if you were removed from the Register for not completing renewal, you will need to complete a reinstatement application which will include completing statutory renewal requirements. A reinstatement fee will be payable in addition to the renewal fee.
To apply to reinstate your registration, log in to the ARBV Portal and select the option on your dashboard.
For architects
Practising architects will need to:
- Update their employer/professional indemnity insurance information via the ARBV Portal
- Complete the reinstatement form in the ARBV Portal and pay the relevant fees
- Ensure they can complete the relevant declarations for CPD and about their Fit and Proper person status
Non-practising architects will need to:
- Complete the reinstatement form in the ARBV Portal
- Ensure they can complete the relevant declarations about their Fit and Proper person status and their status as a non-practising architect
For companies
Companies will need to complete the reinstatement form in the ARBV Portal and pay the relevant fees.
Companies will also need to have ready to upload to the portal the following:
- Proof of professional indemnity insurance (Certificate of Currency) where the company is named as the insured entity
- Full ASIC company extract, which contains details of the company’s office bearers
- A signed Statutory Declaration for each registered architect director. You should include the details of all registered architect directors of the company at the time of submitting your company application (please refer to the template below)
- A director information form for each registered architect director (please refer to the template below)
For Partnerships
Partnerships will need to complete the reinstatement form in the ARBV Portal and pay the relevant fees.
Partnerships will also need to have ready to upload to the portal the following:
- Proof of professional indemnity insurance (Certificate of Currency) where the partnership is named as the insured entity
- A signed Statutory Declaration (please refer to the template below)
- A partner information form for each registered architect director (please refer to the template below)
