Members in office at January 2007 were:

_	Mr Andrew Hutson Chairperson of the Board. Architect nominated by the Minister from a panel of three names supplied by the approved schools of architecture. Re-appointed 2007.
_	Ms Vanessa Bleyer Nominated by the Minister administering the Consumer Affairs Act 1972. Appointed 2006.
_	Ms Efy Karagiannis Nominated by the Minister administering the Consumer Affairs Act 1972. Appointed 2007.
_	Ms Shelley Penn Nominated by the Minister as a senior practising government architect. Appointed 2006.
_	Mr Gary Crutchley Nominated by the Minister from a panel of four names representing related professions: the institution of Engineers, Australia, Victorian Division; the Institution of Surveyors, Victoria; the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and the Royal Australian Planning Institute. Re-appointed 2006.
_	Ms Karen McWilliam Nominated by the Minister from a panel of three names provided by the President of the Victorian Chapter of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects. Appointed 2006.
_	Mrs Jenifer Nicholls Deputy Chairperson Re-Elected by architects 2007.
_	Mr Alex Njoo Elected by architects 2007.
_	Mr Bernie Everett Representative of the Building industry. Re-appointed 2007.
_	Mr Glenn Eagles Representative of the Building Industry. Appointed 2007.

Terms of appointment

Members are appointed by Governor in Council for a two year term, with the possibility of re-appointment. One half of the membership is normally appointed each year. Regulations give effect to appointments. New appointments are taken up in October each year.

Board members may, as part of their duties, review written complaints, may serve on architecture schools accreditation panels, may be examiners for the Architectural Practice Examination and Review of Academic equivalence applications.

Meetings of the Board

Time and date of meetings and meeting procedure

The Board meets formally each month February-December, usually on the second Tuesday. A quorum is 6 members It holds special meetings as required and appoints sub-committees and working groups as required. These groups have no delegated powers.

Meetings of the Board are attended by the Registrar and Inquiries officer and co-opted experts as required. The Act, Section 69 and 54 provides for the Board to regulate its proceedings. Standard meeting procedures are followed.

Administration

The Board's administration staff consists of three on-going staff (2.5 EFT), appointed under section 57 of the Act by the Board itself.

_	Ms Alison Ivey Registrar (the chief executive officer and accountable officer for the purposes of Part 7, section 42, of the Financial Management Act 1994), responsible for all policy matters and registration of architects.
_	Mr Adrian Magee Inquiries Officer responsible for administration of the Tribunals, inquiry and Title matters under the Act.
_	Ms Erin Gibb Administrative Officer, responsible for administration and office management.
